FX于日前正式放行由《宿敵》和《清道夫》編劇Gina Welch執(zhí)筆的六集限定劇《斯特林韻事》（The Sterling Affairs），并邀請(qǐng)到了《喜新不厭舊》和《漢尼拔》的Laurence Fishburne以及憑借《動(dòng)物王國(guó)》、《烏云背后的幸福線》兩度提名的Jacki Weaver領(lǐng)銜主演。
故事將以洛杉磯快船隊(duì)曾經(jīng)的老板Donald Sterling展開，他在1981年以1250萬美元買下這支隊(duì)伍，但成績(jī)一直未有起色；真正讓Donald“為人熟知”的，便是2014年爆發(fā)的種族歧視丑聞。在2013年9月與拉丁裔女友爭(zhēng)執(zhí)的過程中，因?yàn)椴粷M女友上傳了和Magic Johnson的合照，他大放厥詞，表示自己“養(yǎng)著黑人，給他們薪水，他們的一切都是我賜予的“；在對(duì)話被公開后，這則新聞造成轟動(dòng)，并且引發(fā)抗議。最終Donald被終身競(jìng)賽，并被聯(lián)盟罰款250...
